Mrs. Corrales joined our staff the winter of 2022, with 5 years of teaching experience. At her previous school she was a Lead Teacher and helped with developing age-appropriate academic curriculum. She has worked with age groups from 3-5 years old in both public and private settings. Ileana received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Long Beach. She fell in love with working with little ones after working in a Transitional Kindergarten classroom, leading her to shift her education towards Child Development course work. In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and two little girls who are 3 and 1. She loves any outdoor experience, especially a good hike with friends and family. Mrs. Corrales was drawn to working with children after a unique volunteer experience and she has never looked back. She loves helping children meet their academic and social-emotional milestones.
