Bringing vision, heart, and over 15 years of experience to early childhood education

Monica brings more than 15 years of dedication to young children and their families, serving as a director, teacher, and program creator in early childhood and elementary education. She has led the development of several respected programs, including founding the Westcliff Early Learning Academy and Muse School Preschool, and has held leadership roles in both public and private school setting including Newport Mesa Unified School District.

At the heart of Monica’s work is a passion for creating nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environments where children can thrive. Drawing from research-based approaches like Reggio Emilia, Montessori and the play- based approach, she helps shape a school culture that supports each child’s natural curiosity, independence, and love for learning.

Monica’s leadership goes far beyond the classroom. She has designed preschool curriculums from the ground up, trained and mentored teaching teams, led licensing and compliance efforts, and even created early childhood college courses. Her background in both education and the creative arts brings a unique perspective to how young children explore and grow.

Families can feel confident knowing Monica leads with warmth, vision, and a deep understanding of how to support every aspect of a child’s early development. She believes that strong partnerships between families and educators create the foundation for lifelong learning—and she’s committed to making each child’s first school experience meaningful, joyful, and full of possibility.
