Position/Classroom:
Class 5

Education & Training:
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with an ESL endorsement from The
University of Arizona. I’m credentialed to teach Birth–3rd Grade and hold CPR/First Aid
certification.

Teaching Experience:
I began working with students six years ago as a tutor, and since then I’ve had the joy of
teaching in both preschool and elementary classrooms. In 2023, I completed my student
teaching at Second Street Children’s School, and in 2024, I completed my student teaching in a
third-grade classroom at Davidson Elementary School. For the past four years, I have been
working toward my teaching degree and credentials in Arizona, and I am now continuing that
process here in California. This is my first year at St. Mark’s, and I am so excited to learn and
grow alongside your children!

Why I Love Teaching Preschool:
I love seeing young children gain confidence as they learn, solve problems, and build
friendships. Building meaningful connections with each child inspires me to be a better
teacher every day and to support their growth both inside and outside the classroom.

Family:
I come from a big, close-knit family, many of whom work in education, and seeing their
passion for teaching inspired me to work with children. I am especially close to my
grandma, Gege, who is my best friend and role model—she even makes the best
caramel corn during the holidays! I also have two dogs, Roxy, my Rottweiler, and
Cooper, my Frenchie. My family lives in both California and Green Bay, Wisconsin, and
we are all proud Green Bay Packers fans!

Hobbies & Interests:
Outside of the classroom, I love staying active through beach walks, biking, hot yoga,
pilates, pickleball, golfing, and lifting. I also enjoy trying new things, whether it’s
exploring a new restaurant, coffee shop, or activity. I’m also starting a garden at my
grandparents’ house and enjoy reading in my free time.

Fun Fact:
This past summer I backpacked across 8 countries in Europe for the first time!
