Position/Classroom:
Pre-K Teacher, Room 6

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Studies from California State University, Long Beach, and my Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Social Emotional Learning from National University. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and I am currently in the process of completing my K-5 credential from National University.

I began my teaching career in 2018 and joined St. Mark Community Preschool in 2023. During my career, I have taught Pre-K and Transitional Kindergarten, while also gaining experience working with children across a wide range of age groups.

I love teaching preschool-aged children because it’s so incredibly rewarding to see each child’s natural curiosity blossom into a genuine love of learning. Watching students’ confidence grow as they begin to understand new concepts is what makes me love what I do so much. I have always known that I wanted to work with children, and I have a passion for creating a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment. I feel truly grateful for the opportunity to guide children as they learn, grow, and discover their unique potential!

I was born and raised in Orange County, where I’m lucky to have most of my family close by. I’m the youngest of three, and have two family dogs named Buddy and Lyla!

Beyond the classroom, I love to travel and explore the outdoors, especially by visiting national parks. I like to spend my weekends trying out new recipes and I have so much fun cooking and baking for family and friends. I also enjoy discovering new coffee shops and spending time at Disney parks!

A fun fact about me is I grew up in a very musical family and had the opportunity to attend a performing arts program, which fostered my love for creativity and expression. Music has always been an important part of my life, and I still enjoy singing and playing instruments today!
