I graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts in History and
Education and have been working with children ever since. I also completed my Early
Childhood Education units to teach preschool and hold current CPR certification.
I began my career in education in 2012, teaching 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade before
transitioning to early childhood education in 2018. Since then, I’ve had the joy of
teaching toddlers through kindergarten (ages 2–5). In 2024, I joined St. Mark
Community Preschool.
I am passionate about creating a safe, encouraging, and hands-on learning
environment where children feel supported as they grow in their social-emotional skills,
confidence, and love of learning.
When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring
new places, and being in the sun. Fun fact, I grew up riding and showing horses and
love the sport of equestrian.
