Miss Freshwater received her Bachelors in Early Childhood from California Baptist University in 2024. In the spring of 2025, she received her PK-3 Credential from Vanguard University. Miss Freshwater has experience working with students in both preschool and kindergarten classrooms. She began teaching at St Mark during the summer of 2022, returning for the two following summers. Miss Freshwater later joined as a full time teacher in fall of 2024. This is her second year in room 6 as a year round teacher! One of her favorite aspects of teaching preschool is the creative freedom. Growing up with a love of music, painting, and dancing, she has such an appreciation and passion for art in education. Art in the classroom is highly beneficial in learning and development, especially with young children, and Miss Freshwater loves to incorporate all forms of creative art whenever possible! She enjoy spending time with her family and her sweet puppy, Sasha. You can often find them relaxing, surfing, and spending time together at the beach!
Miss Freshwater love painting, reading, spending time with friends and family, baking, and music. She loves going to see musicals, going to the symphony and concerts, and going to Disneyland!
A fun fact about Miss Freshwater is that she used to study music and her favorite genre to study and sing is jazz!
