My name is Katherine Piña and I am a teacher in room 3. I have my bachelors degree in
Anthropology from Chico state university and my associate teaching certificate from Saddleback
college. I am also cpr/first aid certified.

Prior to teaching I worked in retirement homes and also as a Nanny. I started teaching in 2019
and have been at St Mark since 2022.

I love teaching preschool because I love the innocence, enthusiasm, and excitement children
show when engaging in learning.

I have been married to my husband David for 6 years and we have an amazing son Dylan who
is almost 4 and two crazy dogs. I’m interested in nutrition and mindfulness. In my spare time I
love to read, cook, and spend quality time with my family.

A fun fact about me is I grew up in a tiny town up North with about 7,000 people!
